Tamago Yaki

Makes 6 pieces

Tamago yaki is very popular in Japan and it is one of my favorite food also 😀 At first, I was shocked that these tasty goodies can be quite expensive even in stall…Why??? It turns out that it is quite difficult to make a delicious good one. First, you have to have the square small pans that can mold the tamago yaki as it is. My advice, buy the good quality non sticky one. Then you have to practice alot because it is when its half done that you have to fold. The more often you practice the more you can control where you want the color pale, or pale with brown stripes or brown. Anyway, here is the recipe

3 eggs
2 tsb sugar
½ tsp salt

How to prepare:
-mix the eggs, sugar, salt
-fry in square pans, by spreading thin layers of egg,
-when half done, fold and pour again in the open space, repeat the process
-let it cool and put in the refrigerator
-take out and slice thinly
