Poffertjes (Dutch mini pancakes)

Makes 2 portions

Poffertjes are dutch mini pancakes that is delicious to eat in winter days. In the Netherlands, they will just serve it with butter and caster sugar and you will have it with a cup of coffee or something else.

Poffertjes is one of the food that will be available in wedding buffet stalls in Indonesia. They will serve it with ice cream and whip cream. Uh yeah..actually they are a nice companion with a warm cup of afternoon tea. The toppings will be maple syrup, butter and caster sugar. I like to serve it for breakfast. So, this cute mini pancakes is good all day long.. 😀

100 gr flour
100 gr wheat flour
1 tsp yeast
400 ml warm water
1 egg
½ tsp salt

How to prepare:
-add yeast to warm water and set aside until it bubbles
-combine flour and salt and pour in the water bit by bit
-leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes
-heat pan and pour a little mixture, diameter of a coin
-flip over, bake for a while
-set on plate and put butter, sieve caster sugar and add your favorite ice cream
