Nasi Tim/Steamed Rice

A favorite comfort food especially when you are ill besides porridge is Nasi Tim, steam rice with chicken and mushroom toppings.  This is is a dish that you can get in Bakmi Gang Kelinci or any other ordinary restaurant selling mie ayam/chicken noodle, bubur ayam/chicken porridge and this. It comes with a soothing broth soup that you eat with.

The Steamed Rice:
400 grams of rice, 1 liter water, 1 teaspoon salt
2 chicken thigh with bone
6 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame
1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 teaspoon salt
2 stalk green onion, cut into 2 cm
100 grams of sliced onions
200 grams of edible mushroom wash, cut 2

How to prepare:
-Boil the chicken for 20 minutes,add the scallions, onions, salt, take the meat, diced, reserving the water.
-Saute 3 cloves of garlic until fragrant, put pieces of chicken and mushroom, add pepper, soy sauce, sesame oil, and 150 ml broth stir, remove from heat and set aside.
-Saute the remaining garlic fragrant, put the rice, stir, add pepper, soy sauce,stir, remove from heat.
-To stir the meat into 6 sections. Enter each dish of chicken in heat-resistant, smooth, add the rice, pour the chicken stock 100 ml in each bowl, steamed for 20-30 minutes.

The Chicken broth
500 ml chicken stock
1/2 tsp pepper powder
50 gr tongcai
2 stalk green onion, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt

How to prepare:
-Boil the chicken broth again
-add  pepper, salt, tongcai, green onions
