Ayam Kecap

Serves 4

Are you looking for a tasty, moisty, easy and spitty spotty to prepare for dinner. This chicken thigh in sweet soy sauce will surely melt in your mouth. I got the recipe from my besties, she is a great cook. At first, I was dividing 1 chicken leg for one persons’ meal but I couldn’t resist and ate 2 of those thick thighs. I have to admit unable to breath afterwards but taste wise it was satisfactory. That day my big green chilies were ready to harvest so I just add them all in the recipe


1 kg chicken thigh with bone
1/2 cup Worcester sauce
1 medium onion
3 cloves of garlic
5 big green chilies
3 tbs margarine
3-6 tbs vegetable oil
3/4 cup sweet soy sauce
3 tbs ketchup
salt and pepper to taste

How to prepare:

-wash and dry the chicken thigh
-marinate it with Worcester sauce for 30 minutes
-cut the onion into half then thin slices
-crush the garlic with the side of your knife then into small dices
-add the margarine and oil in a pan then saute the garlic and onion until soft
-add the chicken, sweet soy sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper, blend well, cover the pan and cook for 20 minutes
-change the sides every 5-10 minutes
-cut the green chilies into slices and add, cover the pan
-turn off heat when done and keep the pan covered
