Perkedel Tahu

Serves 3

Are you thinking of making something light to snack for the weekends. These fried tofu balls will do the trick. Tofu is cheap so you have make heaps of it and just stock it for anytime of the day. It goes well with sweet chili sauce or a side dish with rice. Easy to prepare. Drain the oil well after frying for best results

-200 gr thick tofu
-1 green onion
-1/2 small onion
-1/4 chicken stock powder
-1/4 salt
-1/4 pepper
-1 egg
-1 tbs flour

How to prepare:
-mashes the tofu, set aside
-cut the green onion, set aside
-separate the egg yolk and white, set aside
-in a small bowl whisk the egg white with 2 tbs water, set aside
-in a bowl, blend the the tofu, green onion, chicken stock, salt, pepper, egg yolk and flour
-heat deep fry oil
-take a tablespoon of the tofu and make into a ball, dip into the egg white and fry
-take out when golden brown and drain the oil
