Dahi Gohst

Serves 3

I had some lamb chunks in the fridge and some yoghurt dying to get rid off, so I felt like making something Indian. Googled “lamb curry” and chose a recipe with high ratings. This recipe was from IndianFood.About.Com . It was quite easy to make it because all you have to do is add all the ingredients in the pan. The taste was great, really delicious. I add some boiled eggs because I like boiled eggs, feel free to leave it out.

1 medium onion (cut into thin slices)
3 tsp garlic paste
3 cm ginger (grate into paste)

300 gr diced mutton
4 boiled eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup yoghurt
3 cm ginger (cut into thin slices)
5 green chilis

1 can tomatoes
2 medium tomatoes (blender into paste)
3 tsp cumin powder
4 bay leafs
1/2 cup mint leafs
1 tbs coriander leafs

How to prepare:
-saute the garlic paste, onion and ginger paste until fragrant
-add the mutton, salt, pepper, yoghurt, ginger and green chilis, cook for 30 minutes
-add the can tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, cumin powder, bay leafs, mint leafs, coriander leafs and eggs, cook for another 30 minutes
