Bengali African Minced Lamb Kebabs

Makes 10 Sticks

I felt like eating lamb and grilling more kebabs. I had minced lamb in the fridge so I sought recipes that will spices up the meat in more middle eastern taste. After reading here and there, I decide to combine 2 recipes, a Bengali version and an African version. It turns out very tasty, especially after grilling, when it is all moist and crispy on the outside. It tasted good with fresh salad, a combination of savory and sweetness.

Ingredients:
500 gr minced lamb
1 tsp dried parsley
3/4 cup fresh mint (chopped)
1 small onion
1/2 lemon (take the juice)
2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp marjoram

How to prepare:
-cut the onion into thin slices then fine chop it again
-saute the chopped onion until soft then add into a bowl
-add all the remaining ingredients into the same bowl and mix well
-take a portion of the meat
-kneed into a ball then make it thin into an oval shape
-stick the steel into the oval shape lamb meat
-grill until well done, change sides every 5 minutes
