Sambal kecap

Every weekend Mama Miyuki Easy Pantsy will introduce you to the vast options of relish/sambel that you can find in the Indonesian culinary world. There are various methods of preparing them, mostly with a mortar but some can be make with a blender. Some are raw, half done and cooked. It all depends on the accompanying dish.

Sweet soy sauce relish is so easy to make. All you have to do is cut the ingredients and mix them all in a bowl. The relish is an accompanying relish for meat sates’ and fried or grilled fish. You can also use this relish to marinate grilled fish or chicken before grilling. An easy marinate for quick ideas cooking.

4 shallots, cut into thin slices
1/4 cup combines cut fresh green and red birds eye chilies
1 large half ripe tomatoes, cut into dices
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/2-3/4 cup sweet soy sauce
1/2 lime, take the juice only

How to prepare:
-in a bowl combine all the ingredients except for the lime juice, stir gently
-add the lime juice
