Margerita Chapatis

Makes 12

New Years Eve already and Sendai is a dead city. It is a custom here to pray for the goodness for the next year and there is no fireworks nor party outside. At home lazy with this cold weather, I feel like no cooking just assembling and grilling. I had a bag with 12 chapatis lying in the freezer, it was meant to make so kebab wraps but I didn’t feel like making anything complicated. So, I got some ready made pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, minced some garlic, pulled Parmesan cheese from the cupboard and pulled some basil from refrigerator. Voila, snack is served.

12 small chapatis
1 bottle pizza sauce
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 mozzarella cheese (diced)
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup fresh basil

How to prepare:
-spread pizza sauce on the chapati
-spread mozzarella cheese evenly
-spread garlic evenly
-sprinkle parmesan cheese evenly
-add fresh basil evenly
