Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff
Serves 4

I was scrolling through my WordPress reader and could resist the Beef Stroganoff recipes posted by CindyKnoke and Fae Twist and Tango.  I have all the ingredients in my fridge but decide to change sour cream with milk because my husband and daughter likes the taste more lighter. I ran out of mushroom but still had dried black fungus in my shelve. Voila, the taste was creamy and savory.

3 tbs butter
1 medium onion, cut into thin slices
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 block chicken consomme
150 gr mushroom, cut in half
400gr thin sliced beef sirloin
3 cups milk/sour cream
3 tbs sifted flour
3 tbs tomato ketchup
1 tbs Worcester sauce
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp parsley

How to prepare:
-saute in pan onion and garlic with butter until golden brown
-add the beef sirloin, makes sure the pieces doesn’t stick
-when all beef are cooked, add the mushrooms
-add the milk/sour cream and flour, stir gently
-add the salt, chicken consomme, tomato ketchup, Worcester sauce, black pepper and parsley
-stir gently and turn of heat when done
