Indian Minced Chicken with Smoked Salmon Salad

Kheema Chiken and Salmon Salad
Serves 2

When Indian food meets western food, this is what this dish is all about. I had some minced chicken and some smoked salmon in the fridge that I decided to turn into some fantastic food for dinner, something different. This time I stumble upon Kheema recipe, so I adjusted it to make it as easy as sprinkling the spices to the chicken. For the salad is also that easy, just add salad and the smoke salmon on top with you favorite dressing.

Indian Minced Chicken

300 gr minced chicken
1 small onion, cut into slices
4 garlic, crushed and cut into small pieces
1 tsp cumin powder
3 cm ginger, grated
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tbs corriander powder
1 tbs dried cilantro leaves
1 tsp salt

How to prepare:

-combine all the ingredients together, excepts for the onion, garlic and ginger
-leave it for 15 minutes
-heat pan with some oil
-saute the garlic and the onion until fragrant
-add the minced chicken
-saute until half done
-add the ginger, saute until cooked, set aside

Smoked Salmon Salad
Smoked Salmon
Assorted leaves salad
tomatomes, cut into wedges
salad dressing as you like

How to assemble:

-add rice on a plate
-add the minced chicken on top
-add salad leaves on the side of the rice
-add smoked salmon in between the leaves
-add dressing on to of the salad
