Sauteed Beef and Bean Sprout

Sauteed beef and beansprout
Serves 2

I had a bag of beansprout and beef in the fridge. I wonder what to make and saw a good recipe from food network. Oh my, it was so delicious that I highly recommend it to you all. The process made the beef so tender and so tasty, that I couldn’t have enough of it.


300 gr thin sliced sirloin
3 tsp garlic paste
3-5 tbs light soy sauce
3 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
a dash of pepper

3 tbs oyster sauce
1 tsp beef consomme
2 tsb corn starch
1/2 cup water

1 cup chives, chopped
1 cup beansprout
1 paprika, sliced

How to prepare:
-marinate the beef with garlic paste, light soy sauce, ginger paste, cornstarch, salt and pepper, set aside for one hour
-in another bowl, whisk oyster sauce, beef consomme, corn starch and water
-heat pan with some oil, saute the beef until 3/4 done
-add the bean sprout, chives on top of the beef
-pour the whisked oyster sauce mixture on top
-cover the lid for 2 minutes
-open the lid and stir gently until the vegetable are done and still crispy
