Hello Food Lovers

Bringing Restaurants into your Home”

You might have lived in Indonesia or just went there for the holidays or went to an Indonesian restaurant and fell in love with the savory taste of the food. You miss it and you want to have it again but you can’t because you will not be able to visit it very soon. Well, I know how it feels and I have come up with this blog. The blog is dedicated to foreign people interested in Indonesian food and the ingredients are adjusted to available resources in the western countries.

Just as many newly weds, I never took cooking seriously because my mother is a great cook. She can remake anything she eats!!! But since my husband and I moved to a foreign country and we couldn’t just go out to find our favorite diners in Indonesia, I had this big urge to cook all our favorite dishes at home, and guess what?!?! It turns out that most of the food serves in restaurants to junk food stalls and very easy dishes that you can make on a budget.

You are lucky, if you have any Asian market around. If not, then you just have to be very creative with the available ingredients you can find around. Don’t be intimidated if there are a list of ingredients in the recipe, just gather all of them together before you start to cook.

So, check out my recipes, happy cooking and impress whom  ever  you want to impress with Indonesian favorites dishes and more!

The recipes will be updated for Monday’s (International), Tuesday (Bento Ideas), Wednesday (Indonesian), Friday (Sweets and Desserts), and Freestyling on the weekends *updated in GMT + 9*

Glad you found me so I could come here and discover that you cook one of my favourite cuisines! I fell in love with Indonesian food when I first went to Brighton (UK), back in the early 90′s. That was the first time I ate lychees too and fell in love with them as well! Thanks for following!
